So I decided that since this blog is Disney for Teens, I should maybe include something outside of the animated movie realm. And here it is, the most perfect thing ever created.
Once Upon A Time (OUAT) is avery popular show on the ABC. I could say it's about fairytale characters in the real world, but it has so much more than that....
So...As Snow White gives birth to her daughter, the Evil Queen (named Regina), enacts a curse meant to take away everyone's happily ever afters.
But luckily, Prince Charming manages to get his daughter through a portal, so she escapes the curse, seconds before it takes effect.
The baby grows up as Emma Swan, she gives birth to a son, and gives him up for adoption. Her ten year old son Henry shows up on Emma's doorstep and takes her to Storybrooke, Maine.
When we arrive, we realize that Henry's adopted mother is Regina, and that the entire town is living under a spell. Snow White (now called Mary Margret Blanchard) is a school teacher, and Prince Charming (now called David Nolan) has been in a coma for 28 years.
Fast forward through a whole lot of adventures...and here we are today. Below is a guide of the characters. You can watch this show on Netflix, they are currently airing the 3rd season.
Character Guide
Behold, Snow White, AKA, Mary Margret Blanchard. This is the most kick-ass version of Snow White you've ever seen. She fights, she's uber nice, and everyone likes her (except the Queen).
This is our Prince Charming. He's not everything you think he is however. This guy is sweet, a good person, and truly the bravest man you've ever met.
Sassy crime-fighter Emma Swan clearly got the best aspects of both her parents. Her superpower is that she can tell when someone lies, and she is accepting the fairytale thing very well.
This is one of those villains that you sometimes root for. She cares about Henry, hates Emma, and is truly an incredible character. Wait until you meet her parents...OMG!
Henry Mills lives in a town where everyone thinks he's insane, but this kid knows what's up. He knows who is really who in this town, and he knows how to get things done.
